  • REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR NEWLY ADMITTED GRADUATE STUDENTS –

    2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION

     

    1. Confirm your acceptance of this admission by payment into Graduate School Account in ECObank Plc:   (a)  Acceptance Fee  - N2,000.00; (b) Graduate School Guideline – N1,000.00 and (c) Graduate School ID Card – N1,000.00 (NOTE: the listed payments should be made in three (3) separate Bank Tellers).

     

    1. Proceed to Enterprise Bank (Murtala Mohammed Highway Branch, Calabar, opposite Metropolitan Hotel) for payment of School Fees. Fees could also be paid in any Enterprise Bank Branch outside Calabar. Your name in the bank should be as it appears in your admission letter (surname, first name and middle name).

     

    1. Collect your Cash Channel receipt or printout from the Bank.

     

    1. Go online and log on to www.unicalonline.edu.ng.

     

    1. Click on Fee payment/ Registration and follow the online on-screen instructions on how to fill the form. You will be expected to input your receipt number on the space provided.

     

    1. Click on Login and proceed to fill the form.

     

    1. On completing the form, you will print out the Registration Form.

     

    1. Proceed to your department with the Form for signatures by HOD and Dean of the Faculty.

     

    1. Submit the Form in the office of the Dean of Graduate School for endorsement.

     

    1. Collect the Form from the Dean’s Office, make three (3) photocopies of the Form and proceed to your Head of Unit in Graduate School for registration. You will be given an ID Card Form by your Unit Head. Enter your details carefully in the ID Card Form provided, attach your recent Passport Photograph and submit to your Unit Head with your bank teller for the ID card payment.

     

    1. Proceed to the ID card Room (Room 018 Graduate School Building) for Image Capture.

     

    1. You will not be deemed to have registered until you are issued with a valid ID card from the Graduate School. Your ID card is your identifier. You will not be permitted to undertake any transaction in the Graduate School or your Department without a valid Graduate School ID Card. (NOTE: Your ID card is valid for one academic session and as such renewable every academic session).

     

    REGISTRATION DEADLINES:

     

    Friday, 4th May, 2012                      -              2011/2012 Academic Session begins/Payment of Fees

    and other charges

    Friday, 18th May, 2012                    -              New students arrive campus

    Monday, 21st May, 2012                -              New students’ Registration commences

    Monday, 28th May, 2012               -              Lectures begin for new students

    Friday, 15th June, 2012                   -              Registration ends

    Monday, 18th June, 2012               -              Late Registration begins

    Wednesday, 15th August, 2012 -              Late Registration ends

     

    NOTE:  You will forfeit your admission if you fail to register within the stipulated period.

    REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING GRADUATE STUDENTS –

    2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION

     

    1. Make the following payments into Graduate School Account in ECObank Plc: (a) Graduate School Guideline – N1,000.00 and (b) Graduate School ID Card – N1,000.00 (NOTE: the listed payments should be made in two (2) separate Bank Tellers).

    1. You will not be deemed to have registered until you are issued with a valid ID card from the Graduate School. Your ID card is your identifier. (NOTE: Your ID card is valid for one academic session and as such renewable every academic session).

    Monday, 28th May, 2012               -              Registration ends for Returning students

    Monday, 6th August, 2012            -              Late Registration ends for Returning students

     

    NOTE:  Failure to register within the stipulated period suspends your programme.
